The following individuals were elected/reelected to lead the Cudell Board of Directors' for the coming year:  Daniel L. Berry, President; Brian Jereb, Vice President; Marcos Cortes, Secretary; Walter Martens, Jr. Treasurer; Carol King Johnson and Gerald Durante, Executive Committee.  Congratulations to all on their willingess to take on the extra work.  Also, congratulations to the newly elected Board Members: Anne Hamlin and Jackie Frank Taylor.  

Call for Artists

The 27th Annual Clifton Arts & Musicfest has opened its application process for fine artists to be juried into the Show.  Applications may be downloaded at The Show is on Saturday, June 21, 2014.

Navigating the Hiring Process

The city of Cleveland is sponsoring an informational session on Saturday, February 15, 2014 from 9 AM - Noon in Cleveland Public Auditorium, 500 Lakeside Avenue.  

GED Test Preparation

Merrick House at 1050 Starkweather Avenue in Tremont will be hosting the GED Test Preparation classes.  While the classes are on weekday afternoons and evenings, you must register to attend an orientation.  Call 216.771.5077 or visit for more information.

Metroparks Job Fair

Looking for seasonal employment?  The Metroparks is interviewing for positions at golf courses, park operations, natural resources, zoo, consessions and aquatics. Bring multiple copies of your resume.  Several locations and dates are available.  Call 216.635.3241 or visit for more information. 

Sew Lorain for Adults

The Lorain Branch Library at 8216 Lorain will host an adult sewing class on Tuesday, February 25 at 5 PM where adults can learn how to sew and use a sewing machine through simple, no pressure projects.  Register by calling 216.623.7011.

Look no further than our neighborhood for great Valentine's Day ideas.  Whether fine or casual dining or unique and special gifts for your sweetie, its all here in the neighborhood.  Most of our shops and restaurants are locally owned so money spent in the neighborhood stays in the neighborhood.  

Offices Closed for Presidents' Day

On Monday, February 17th, both of Cudell Improvement, Inc.'s offices will be closed in observance of Presidents' Day.  Offices will reopen at the regular time on Tuesday.
