New Faces in the Community The new Manager of ParkView Federal Savings Bank at 11010 Clifton Blvd. is Michael C. Burgess. Stop in to meet Mr. Burgess and help welcome him to the neighborhood. Also, the new Center Manager at the Westshore Neighborhood Family Service Center at 9830 Lorain Avenue is Marlene Robinson-Statler. Ms. Robinson-Statler replaces the retiring Manager Dina Kozak. The public is invited to view the plan on Tuesday, February 23, 2010 at Pope John Hall Gymnasium at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church West , 6928 Detroit Avenue. Exhibits open at 5 PM. There will be a presentation at 6PM with questions to follow at 7 PM. Cityworks Workshop Hosted by Cudell Improvement, Inc. A proposal development workshop will be hosted by Cudell Improvement, Inc. at 9815 Lorain Avenue on Thursday, March 11, 2010 beginning at 7 PM to assist groups in preparing their submissions by the due date of April 30, 2010. Cityworks grants of up to $3,000 are available to block clubs, street clubs and community based organizations for neighborhood improvement and community strengthening projects. Awardees will be responsible for matching contributions that may be cash, volunteer labor, donated professional services and/or donated materials or supplies.
