Local Businesses in the News

Asian Grille was recently recognized with two awards at the Taste of Cleveland event.  Asian Grille (11100 Clifton Blvd.) won 2009 Best of the Fest Entree and 2009 Featured Restaurant!  Rating a feature in Cleveland Magazine's 2009 BEST OF CLEVELAND section was our newest commercial neighbor,  Big Fun, at 11512 Clifton Blvd.  Congratulations, also, to Steve Presser, owner, for perservering while having his new storefront rebuilt after someone drove through it two weeks after his Grand Opening!  And in a recent interview with Hollywood star Tom Hanks, he mentioned fond memories of dining at Tick Tock Tavern while performing with the Great Lakes Theatre Festival.  And talk about novelty, Now That's Class was recently mentioned in Cleveland Magazine for serving bottled adult beverages wrapped in paper lunch sacks!  The noise from those clanking bottles at 11213 Detroit Avenue is certainly muffled!  And last, but not least, did you see the TV coverage of the celebration going on at Twist Social Club on Clifton Boulevard when Cleveland was announced as the location of the 2014 Gay Games?  Please remember to support all of our local businesses on Clifton, Detroit, Madison, Lorain and West 117th Street.  They are the backbone of our community and the front door to our residential neighborhood.
